title : Welcome to the real world (of College)
Hey yo peeps, I've been waiting to blog this for a long time, but it didn't turn out anything like I expected. As you know from my previous post.. I made up my mind to study Graphic design, so now am officially a student at The one academy. An what a "great" impression it was, especially the management.. maybe I overestimated this college, oh well. Firstly, we went there for a few times before I registered, the first two times we're accompanied by a counselor named Alex.. Alex was friendly and nice. The third time me and my sister went there to register, we went to the counter and it's like we're invisible.. no one bothered even though we were standing there, just because we look like some good for nothing dumbass kids? and I'm not exaggerating, you can go and see for yourselves... when you're parents are there or when you're dressed up nicely they automatically ask you for assistance. So yeah anyways we asked them and the lady said Alex wasn't in so another counselor attended us. Then the counselor which is a girl with long curly hair and spectacles was a little pushy, I had to fill up the form and there's so much to write she kept rushing me to finish it like hello? if you're busy then you can go and do your things first, no need to rush me when I have to write a short essay on why I want to enter TOA etc. Urgh, after I got my offer letter we went there again to pay the fees... and the amount written on the letter was different from what both counselor said. On the paper itself was RM5500 for the first sem, then Alex said RM6700, then the other counselor said RM7300 and then the letter was RM7390 (+ RM1000 my sis paid earlier) so from RM5500 to RM8390 ?? My sister was so angry and scolded them and they were still not taking us seriously.... WTF? I was there with my sister I heard it too so my sister was definitely not wrong bout the amount. Secondly, the induction programme... it was alright I just don't like the fact that they don't inform properly about the queue.. you seriously just expect us to know which is our queue ? Come on we're new comers here? So I just line up at the first one since I thought it's all the same, after lining up for about 10 minutes, I'm actually at the wrong queue. So I had to go and find someone who can tell me where the heck am I suppose to stand. Thirdly, the timetable... students have to check everything online, and download online. This is by far the most ridiculous thing ever, I found the timetables but I don't know which is mine. So the next day I called the office to ask which is my class.. I called 9am and the operator kept saying everyone is busy etc so I called several times still the same, and finally they picked up at 11.00am and when I'm talking halfway the girl transferred me to someone else and this girl wasn't being helpful either talking me crap. Then I put down the phone since the girl said it's not her business, my mom was tired of their poor service then she called again and they immediately check for me. Do you know how it feels at my point of view? What the hell man and because of that I missed my first class. So far that's how bad it was.
